I understand that Event Host or its authorized representatives may conduct interviews and may capture statements, photos and/or videos of me during the Event. I also acknowledge and agree to adhere to any on-site preventative measures such as mask wearing and on-site testing. I acknowledge that Intuit, in its sole discretion, retains the right to modify any on-site mandates in response to COVID-19 to promote the safety of attendees and staff.
This liability waiver and release extends to the Event Host together with all associated entities. I understand that this release discharges Event Host and any associated entity from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against Intuit with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to the Event. I hereby release and agree to hold Intuit and any related entity harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act from Event Host or associated entity, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with any services received from Event Host and any associated entity at the Event. I voluntarily seek services provided by Event Host and any associated entity, including event sponsors, and acknowledge that I could be increasing my risk of exposure to COVID-19 by attending the Event. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Event Host and other attendees. I further acknowledge that Event Host or any associated entity cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with COVID-19. I acknowledge the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the contagious nature of COVID-19. (“Intuit” or “Event Host”), its employees, vendors, agents, service providers, and contractors from any and all alleged and/or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, or losses, of any kind (“Claim”) which may arise out of or result from my registration, attendance at, and/or involvement in the Event. By registering for and attending the QuickBooks Connect event and participating in event activities, such as polls, trivia and/or networking (collectively the “Event”), I hereby agree to release and hold harmless Intuit, Inc.
